The most straightforward option is to download it as a spreadsheet file in either Excel (XLS) or CSV format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note: In addition to survey responses, you can also <a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/data-index\/download-user-data\/\">download user profiles<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/reporting\/survey-response-lists\/\">Survey Responses<\/a> page includes a download option in the top-right corner. Keep in mind that the \u201clast shown\u201d date of a response can change over time &#8211; for example, when using <a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/advanced-options\/follow-up-mode\/\">Follow-Up Mode<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose which data fields to include in the export. The following column groups are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Base Info<\/strong>: User ID, survey name, and the date the response was received<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Meta Data<\/strong>: Detailed information about survey exposure, such as when the user first saw the survey and how often it was shown<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Response Data<\/strong>: The actual answers provided by the user<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User Traits<\/strong>: All additional data stored for the user who responded to the survey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also decide whether question labels or question identifiers should be used as column headers. Depending on how your account is set up, using identifiers may result in a spreadsheet that is easier to scan or process programmatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to downloading survey responses as spreadsheet files, you can also access this data through our backend API.
