A response can have multiple Tags, allowing you to categorize feedback in whatever way makes sense for your use case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tags can be added manually, automatically with Refiner AI, or programmatically. Refiner AI can also help you discover new Tags based on the feedback you collect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add Tags to responses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several ways to add Tags to survey responses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manual Tagging<\/strong> \u2013 Tag individual survey responses directly in the Refiner dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto Tagging<\/strong> \u2013 Define what a Tag represents and let Refiner AI automatically apply it to matching responses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Programmatic Tagging<\/strong> \u2013 Add Tags from your application, Email Surveys, or Survey Pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/response-tags\/manual-tagging\/\">Add Tags<\/a><\/strong> for detailed instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Explore your Tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Tags<\/strong> page in the main navigation gives you an overview of the Tags appearing in your survey feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see which Tags were added to responses during the last 24 hours, last 7 days or All Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, Tags are ordered by <strong>Trending<\/strong>, making it easy to spot topics that are currently gaining attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also sort Tags <strong>alphabetically<\/strong> or by the <strong>number of responses<\/strong> carrying each Tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover new Tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t always need to know in advance which topics you want to track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tag Discovery<\/strong> uses Refiner AI to analyze your latest survey responses and suggest new Tags based on recurring topics and patterns in your feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can review these suggestions, accept the ones that are relevant, and dismiss those you don&#8217;t need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/response-tags\/tag-discovery\/\">Tag Discovery<\/a><\/strong> to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analyze and use Tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once Tags have been added to your responses, you can use them throughout Refiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filter your survey response lists by Tag<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visualize Tag counts and trends in Dashboards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Filter Dashboard data by Tag<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trigger Notifications when specific Tags are added<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include Tag counts in scheduled Digests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/response-tags\/tag-reporting\/\">Tag Analysis<\/a><\/strong> to learn how to explore and analyze tagged responses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tags help you categorize survey responses and turn qualitative feedback into structured data.
