It also takes the surveys you created into account to better understand the context in which the feedback was collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automatic Tag Discovery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t need to start every discovery manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Refiner runs Tag Discovery automatically on a regular basis based on your latest survey feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you collect more responses, new suggestions can appear when Refiner identifies relevant topics that you are not already tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can still trigger a new discovery manually whenever you want to explore your latest feedback immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Review Tag suggestions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Discovered Tags appear under <strong>Tags &gt; Discover Tags<\/strong>, where you can review them before adding them to your Tag library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For each suggestion, you can choose to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accept<\/strong> the Tag if the topic is relevant to you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dismiss<\/strong> the Tag if you don&#8217;t want to track it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Accepted Tags are added to your Tags and can automatically be applied to matching incoming survey responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This turns a newly discovered topic into something you can continuously monitor as you collect more feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tag Discovery vs. Auto Tagging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Auto Tagging<\/strong> and <strong>Tag Discovery<\/strong> solve two different problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Auto Tagging, you already know which topics you want to track. You create a Tag, describe when it should apply, and Refiner AI automatically categorizes matching responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tag Discovery works in the opposite direction. Refiner examines your feedback and suggests topics that you may not have thought about tracking yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Used together, the two features let you track both <strong>known topics<\/strong> and <strong>new themes emerging from your survey feedback<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analyze discovered Tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you accept a suggested Tag, you can use it like any other Tag in Refiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can monitor how often it occurs, track it over time in a Dashboard, filter survey responses by it, or use it to trigger Notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/refiner.io\/docs\/kb\/response-tags\/tag-reporting\/\">Tag Analysis<\/a><\/strong> to learn more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tag Discovery helps you uncover new topics and patterns in your survey feedback.
