When generating an email survey embed code, you can select your current email provider from a list of supported provider. Selecting a provider will add specific tags to the embed code to identify survey respondents in your Refiner account. In the past, these tags were added automatically and the email addresses of the recipient was used as the identifier.
With our newest release, it’s possible to tweak the Identify Tags and use values other than the email address. For example, you can decide to use the ID of a user to identify them instead of their email address.
