We’ve updated Refiner’s authorization system to give teams more control over who can publish surveys.
Starting today, only users with the Manager or Admin role can publish surveys. Previously, users with the Contributor role could also publish them directly.
You can now assign the Contributor role to team members who should be able to create and edit surveys, but not publish them. Contributors can request publication, and Managers or Admins can review and approve those requests before a survey goes live.
This new publishing workflow is ideal for larger teams that need an approval step or stricter control over what gets published.
