Why? Because you see, not every survey app can run mobile surveys. They are designed to display surveys on mobile devices but they use their own native apps, rather than integrate within another mobile app.
I refer to those apps as mobile apps for running offline surveys. You often see those apps in stores, caffes, points of sale, and other physical locations. These apps often display a simple survey, often using a rating or Likert scale.

Let’s finish this section with a quick walkthrough of the most critical features to look for in a mobile survey app.
And the first one is pretty obvious:
The app must allow you to integrate the survey within your mobile app’s interface.
After all, the whole concept of mobile app surveys is to collect valuable feedback from users directly within a mobile app.
Mobile app surveys don’t require users to go anywhere else to complete the survey. Unlike email surveys, for example, where respondents need to click on a link and go to a webpage to complete the survey, with mobile app surveys, they take it directly in the app.
So, naturally, the survey tool you’re going to use must allow you to integrate the survey within your app natively.

But with smart user segmentation, you can trigger the survey only to people who need to see it. Not only, you’ll provide a much better user experience to everyone, you’ll also collect more relevant responses.
Finally, the app must allow you to customize the survey widget to match your app’s interface.
It makes sense, doesn’t it? You want the integrate the survey seamlessly. And the only way to do that is by giving it a look and feel of your app.
