Teams Digests

Introduction

Microsoft Teams Digests deliver scheduled summaries of your Refiner survey insights directly into a Microsoft Teams channel via webhook URL. This lets your team receive automated snapshots of key survey metrics and trends without needing to open the Refiner dashboard. Teams digests are ideal for keeping stakeholders and collaborators aligned on feedback performance in the tools you already use most.

Create a New Teams Digest

To set up a Teams digest, go to the “Alerts & Digests > Scheduled Digests” section of your Refiner dashboard. Click “Create digest”, choose “Microsoft Teams Message”, and then click “Create digest” to begin configuring your new digest.

On the setup page, give your digest a clear name, for example “Weekly Feedback Summary” so you can quickly identify its purpose and audience.

Set Frequency and Timezone

Like other scheduled digests, Teams digests can be sent at regular intervals:

  • Daily digests include survey data from the current day (midnight to midnight).
  • Weekly digests summarize data from the past seven days and let you choose a specific weekday to deliver the message.
  • Monthly digests are delivered on the last day of the month and cover the full month’s feedback.

Select the timezone that should govern the schedule to ensure digest timing aligns with your team’s workflows.

Choose Surveys

By default, core metrics from all surveys in your workspace are included in the digest. If necessary, you can refine this selection to include only specific surveys that matter most to the audience of the digest.

Configure Webhook URL

To receive digests in Microsoft Teams, you must provide a Webhook URL generated from a Teams channel. In your Microsoft Teams account, navigate to the channel where you want digest messages posted, open Connectors, and add or configure an Incoming Webhook. Copy the unique webhook URL supplied by Teams and paste it into the webhook field in the Refiner digest configuration. This webhook URL is what Refiner uses to post scheduled messages into your selected Teams channel.

Send a Test and Save

Before saving the digest, click “Send test” to verify that the message appears as expected in the chosen Teams channel. Once confirmed, save your digest settings. Refiner will then begin automatically posting scheduled summaries to your Microsoft Teams channel according to the configured frequency
