Schedule Survey

Introduction

Schedule sets when a Web App Survey or Mobile App Survey is allowed to appear. Use it when a campaign should wait for a launch moment, stop on a deadline, or run only between the two.

The dates are a window around your other targeting. Inside the window, a user still has to match the Target Audience and the Launch Trigger, and the survey has to be published.

Use Schedule when the boundary is a date and time. Use Response Limit when the boundary is a number of responses.

Set the dates

Open the survey and go to the Targeting tab. Set Schedule to Enabled.

You can set a start date, a stop date, or both. Use the trash icon beside a date to clear it.

• Start date only. The survey stays hidden until that moment. After that, your other targeting rules decide who sees it.
• Stop date only. The survey can appear as soon as your other targeting rules match, and it stops at that moment.
• Both. The survey can appear only between the two moments.

Each field includes a time and shows a timezone offset, such as GMT+2. The window opens and closes at that moment.

Trigger progress before the start

A start date leaves existing trigger progress in place. Tracked events and the session start time stay as they are. When the start date passes, the survey can appear for users who already qualified.

For example, the launch trigger waits three minutes after a user starts a new session, and the schedule starts next Monday. A session that started earlier still counts. On Monday, a user who already waited those three minutes can see the survey.

Tracked events from before the start date still count toward the trigger in the same way. A user who already reached the event count can see the survey once the window opens.

After the stop date

After the stop date, users no longer see the survey. To show it again, clear the stop date or set a later one, and keep the survey published.
